NOM-SHOP-09 · Version 1.4 · Last updated: 18 October 2026 · Translation of the Greek original, which prevails
1. Introduction — Company Details
The “FSZ GEMI” service (the “Service”) is provided by FINANCIAL SERVICES Ο.Ε. (General Partnership) (the “Company”), 10 I. Plessa St., 29100 Zakynthos, Greece, VAT No. 802029709 (Zakynthos Tax Office), Γ.Ε.ΜΗ. No. 168484324000, email financialserviceszth@gmail.com. Accountant-tax advisor professional licence No. 4681.
These terms govern access to and use of the Service. By creating an account, subscribing to a plan or using the Service, the User declares that they have read and accept them. They supplement the Website Terms of Use, the General Terms of Sale for Digital Products, the Subscription Terms, the End User Licence Agreement, the Withdrawal Policy, the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy. In case of conflict, the commercial documents prevail on sale, price and withdrawal matters, while these terms prevail on use of the Service.
2. Definitions
“User”: any natural or legal person who creates an account or uses the Service. “Source”: the public body or database from which the data originates. “Source Data”: data as published by the Source. “Derived Data”: the links, histories, classifications and exports produced by the Service. “Plan”: the User’s subscription tier as in force on the pricing page.
3. Description of the Service
“FSZ GEMI” is an online tool for searching and viewing public data of the General Commercial Registry (Γ.Ε.ΜΗ. / GEMI). It allows the User to search and view data on businesses registered with GEMI. Specifically, the Service allows searching for companies, viewing a full profile and the history of general-meeting decisions, exporting to PDF and, depending on the Plan, creating a watchlist with notifications of changes. Data is retrieved from the Source’s API and may be stored temporarily or in a Company database for the operation of the watchlist and notifications.
The Service is a search-convenience tool. It is not GEMI, does not issue GEMI certificates or copies and does not produce legal publicity effects.
4. Data Sources and Licences
The Service’s data originates from GEMI through the GEMI open data service (opendata.businessportal.gr), made available by the GEMI Central Service (Hellenic Confederation of Chambers, KEEE). The Company is not the body maintaining GEMI and does not control its content.
GEMI data and API are made available as open data under the Open Data Commons Attribution License 1.0 (ODC-BY 1.0), which permits commercial use with attribution of the source (opendata.businessportal.gr/license, retrieved 18/10/2026). The Service credits the origin as follows: “Data from GEMI (opendata.businessportal.gr)”, with a link to the Source.
The Service is not affiliated with, endorsed by or representing the body maintaining the Source. References to the Source are made solely to indicate the origin of the data.
5. Disclaimer: No Professional Advice; Data Accuracy
The Service is an information tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting or other professional advice and does not replace review by a qualified professional. The Company’s individualised services are provided only under a separate agreement.
The Company makes reasonable efforts to reproduce Source Data accurately but does not warrant its completeness, accuracy, timeliness or fitness for a particular purpose, as these depend on the Source. In particular:
• The data displayed is not a certificate, attestation or official copy of GEMI. For any use requiring an official document, the User must obtain it from the competent GEMI Service/body.
• The data may not reflect the business’s current legal status (e.g. recent changes, deregistration, pending filings).
• The Company does not warrant that search results are complete (e.g. similarly named businesses, name spelling variants).
6. User Account
Use of the Service requires an account. The User must provide accurate information, keep credentials confidential and notify the Company immediately of unauthorised use. The account is personal and may not be shared or transferred to third parties, unless the Plan provides for multiple user seats.
The Service is mainly intended for professional use. Sales are made to consumers (B2C) only within Greece and to businesses (B2B) established in Greece; no sales are made outside Greece. Rights mandatorily granted to consumers by law are unaffected.
7. Plans and Subscription
The Service is offered in Plans (FREE, BASIC, STANDARD, PREMIUM) with different limits and features. The current Plans, prices and limits are shown on the product page and at order stage, before payment.
Prices, billing cycle, renewal, cancellation and refunds are governed by the Subscription Terms and the Withdrawal Policy. The free Plan is provided “as is”, with no availability commitment, and may be modified or discontinued with reasonable notice.
The Company may change Plan limits and features; for material changes affecting active subscriptions, subscribers are notified by email a reasonable time before they take effect.
8. Licence and Acceptable Use
The Company grants the User a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for their internal professional needs, within the limits of their Plan. The User must not:
• use the data for unfair or unlawful commercial solicitation (e.g. mass unsolicited communications) in breach of electronic communications and data protection law;
• compile data on natural persons (e.g. partners, legal representatives, sole traders) to build profiles or for harassment;
• systematically and massively reproduce, resell, sub-license or distribute the database, the Derived Data or the Service as a competing product;
• reverse engineer, extract source code or gain access by unauthorised means;
• use the Service or Derived Data to train artificial intelligence systems without prior written permission;
• use the Service for an unlawful purpose or in breach of third-party rights.
These restrictions concern the Service and the Company’s Derived Data and do not limit the User’s rights over Source Data as arising from the licence or terms of the Source itself, which the User may exercise directly from the Source.
9. Personal Data
GEMI contains data relating to natural persons (e.g. sole traders, partners, legal representatives, board members). A User who uses or exports such data is themselves responsible for processing it lawfully, for a specified purpose and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and national law.
The Company’s processing of the User’s own personal data (account, usage, payments) is described in the Privacy Policy. For business customers requesting a data processing agreement, the Company’s DPA template is available on request. For public data on natural persons contained in the Source Data and held in the Service’s database, the Company acts as controller and informs data subjects in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
10. Intellectual Property
The Service, software, design, structure and organisation of the database, the links and the Derived Data produced by the Company are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors and are protected under applicable law. Source Data remains under the regime of its Source. The User retains rights over their own data (e.g. settings, saved filters).
Derived Data exported by the User may be used for their internal and professional needs, crediting the Source where its licence requires.
11. Availability and Third-Party Providers
The Service depends on the Source and on third-party infrastructure and payment providers (indicatively: Netlify, Supabase, Stripe). The Company makes reasonable efforts for smooth operation but does not commit to uninterrupted availability or response times (SLA) unless expressly agreed in writing. The Service may be temporarily interrupted for maintenance or due to unavailability or change of the Source (e.g. API changes, new limits). The Company is not liable for interruptions caused by third parties or force majeure.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost profits, loss of opportunity or reputation arising from use of or inability to use the Service or from reliance on data originating from the Source. Towards businesses, the Company’s total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by the User for the Service during the last twelve (12) months.
No provision limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, nor the rights mandatorily granted to consumers by law.
13. Suspension and Termination
The Company may suspend or terminate the account in case of breach of these terms, abuse or non-payment. The User may cancel their subscription as set out in the Subscription Terms. After termination, the User may export their data for thirty (30) days, after which account data is deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
14. Amendment of Terms
The Company may amend these terms. Amendments take effect upon publication; for material changes affecting active subscriptions, subscribers are notified by email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
15. Alternative Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute, the User may contact the Company at financialserviceszth@gmail.com. Consumers may refer to certified Alternative Dispute Resolution bodies as set out in section 11 of the Website Terms of Use (NOM-PUB-01), which applies mutatis mutandis.
16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Greek law and applicable EU law. For disputes with consumers, the competent courts are those designated by law, without prejudice to the consumer’s right to bring proceedings before the courts of their place of domicile. For disputes with businesses, the courts of Zakynthos have exclusive jurisdiction.
